FAIR OF "SANTA CREU"

This year I went to fhe fair in Figueres several times. I went for a walk on Friday night and there, after having a sandwich with my friends, we decided to go to the atractions. We went to the most exiting ones.

Later we went to "Barraques", there were playing good groups of music, people were dancing and listening to the music. On Saturday  I repeted more or less the same, after trainning tennis I had a shower and then we went back to the Fair, this time we stayed in "Barraques" until very late at night, then with my friends we went to sleep to my aunt in Figueres. We had a nice week-end.

Summer 2012
I expect this summer to enjoy and have free time. Surelly I will play tennis tournements in France and probably I will play an international tournament in Asturias with Mateo, we will play singles and doubles.
The training in summer is very hard, because we prepare the phisic as well, it means to run a lot and doing exercices. I hope having free time to go to the beach with my friends and going out.
I like having holidays because now I'm a little bit tired of exams and homework.

My dog

DUC

My dog is a german sheaper. Yesterday was its anniversary, now is two years old. Duc is a nice dog, it has a pretty face with erect pointed ears, its  hair is long mixing black orange and cream colours.

It is very friendly with people but with other dogs it likes to demostrate its authorisation, it always try to put its paw over them. Today Duc is gone to the beach, he likes running behind wood sticks. First it was affraid to enter to the see, but it became more confident and started to swim.I spent a lot of time with him, some time when I play play station it seats next to me. I love Duc it is my friend.

Future

In our age is very difficult choose our future but we must think which subjects we want study. I would be engineer like my father. I like technology and maths but I hate dign. I would like study university and after that work in a business, but it will be very difficult because there aren't work. I also can won some money playing tennis, doing tennis classes and playing for a team.
Now I must study hardly for have a good mark and have the possibility of enter in a university.

A funny film

Men in black.

It is an old film. I was seven when I saw it for the first time. It is an action film, secret agents had to protect the earth from murders or aliens. The main characters are good friends and they fight together but their objectives are different because the youngest one only wants parties and girls. The oldest one is an expert agent.

I like this film because it's funny and my favourite actor is in it. (Will Smith). The plot is good and there is good music.

Now in the cinema we can see men in black 3. I would like watch it. 

tourist interviews

We went to Figueres with the class. We did interviews at tourists. I ask to an old couple.

A - Where are you from?
T- From Holand.
A- Are you on holidays here?
T- Yeah, on holydays yeah
A- Are you having a good time?
T- Yes,  we are in the first two days in Spain
A- Where are you staying?.
T- In St Pere Pescador.
A- Are you with a group?
T- No, with a group of two.
A- Who long are you staying in Catalonia?.
T- Possibily three weeks.
A- Have you visited other places in Catalonia?
T- Yes, Barcelona.
A-Which place do you like more?
T- We don't know yet because we are the first time in Figueres so Barcelona we visited 4-5 times looks very nice.
A- Do you like spanish food?
T- We didn't eat yet, we must try now.
A- Okey thank you very much.
T- Okey nice time.

Italy

1- Italy was fantastic, we were waiting this trip since we started the year. I was a little bit nervous. The fisrt day we caught the plane in Barcelona. They scrutinized me in the airport. The travel was fantastic. In Italy we visited Pisa and its famous leaning tower. I liked it very much, we had dinner togheter in a small restaurant.

2- The second day we went to Florence. It was the best day. We had breakfast in the hotel. The city of Florence was very nice, all the buildings were very new.

3- The thirst day we went to Sienna early in the morning because this city was very far. It was older than Florence, the zone was fantastic (Toscana). We have lunch in a place very big near the church. We have free time for visit the city, at 4 o'clock we went to Roma. We visited some monuments and we toke place in the hotel.

4- We staid in Roma, we had free time. At the afternoon we visited a famous dome.

5- It was the last day, I was so sad. We toke the ship to return. It was the biggest ship I have ever seen. We sleept here.

6- We return to Castelló and we saw our families. They attact us with thousants of questions.

Description podcast

In this picture I was with my family in London two years ago, we were on holidays. We were in front of the Tower Bridge, it pass over the Tamessis river. That bridge is very famous and it has a lot of story. It was dark because it was very late. I was wearing a grey jacket. My mother was wearing a scarf and a yellow jacket. My father the tallest one was wearing a white back and a black jacket.
The wether was very cold because it was winter. It's the best place I have ever been on holidays.I want repeat it but I don't know when.

Friendship

Friendship is a great thing, it's very important. When you are old is the greatest thing that you have. Your friends are always prepared for help you and you have to help their when they need your frienship. Also is a person with you spend a lot of time. It have to be very long because the friendship is the most important thing in the life.
Their have to understad your decisions and it's important that you undestand friend's decisions.

Book vs film.

There are some differences between the book and the film of Romeo and Juliet. 


In the book they fought with swords but in the film with pistols.


In the film their transport were cars (modern tecnology).


The prince was a policeman in the film but in the book he's "the king" of Verona.


In the film they were in the moderm times.


The families were differents bussines.


The language in the film was modern than the book.

 In the party they only wear customs, no masks.

Tybalt didn't kill Mercutio with a sword.


In the film Romeo killed himself with a pistol.

Superzize me

 

Morgan Spurlock was watching a TV programme about fast food. A representative of McDonald's was saying that their food was nutritious and healthy. Morgan disagreed doing an experiment. He decided to eat fast foot for thirty days. When he started he was healthy, energetic and happy. First, when he began the experiment he had headaches and stomach aches. He ate energy to walk 7 miles but Morgan didn't do any exercise. At the end of the experiment Morgan felt unhealthy, tired and overweight, and he was eleven kilos heavier. The experiment was very dangerous but some restaurants changed their menus. He made a documentary called Supersize me. The doctors were very worried with the dangerous experiment of Morgan. He became famous with that experiment.

Yesterday I saw this post in my teacher's biology's website. I want to take part of the expedition because I have all the qualities you need. I love animals and particularly strange animals. My dreams are become the best veterinary in the world, so I need practice and to know new animals. Also I'm very strong and adventurous. My grandfather was explorer and now he is an excellent veterinary. I'm very healthy, I don't smoke anything and I don't drink alcohol. When I was five I learned to swim and I was the faster swimmer in the region but I had a important problem in my left leg. Now I only swim in the summer but short distances and once a week I go to the gym to keep me fit. I'm Spanish so I speak this language perfectly. My brother did the expedition last year and he told me that was fantastic and he met her girlfriend. I have an aunt there, I visit her every two years. I think that I can help you because I know more or less that country. I don't have experience but I can't go to your introduce course because my mother will do an important concert of rock in Los Angeles.

My aunt is Helena, she lives in Figueres but she works in Empuriabrava with my mother. Helena every day comes to my house for walk my dog. She is thirty eight years old, Helena is three years younger than my mother. She likes dogs and the sport. She now is playing a padel course, evrey winter she goes to skii in Andorra. Helena hasn't any soons because she thinks she is young. Helena has two nephew. She is a little tall, thin, clever, polite, friendly..... She has blonde fair hair and brown eyes. Rather she eats chocolate and she always eats vegetables. Her favorite colour is blue. She likes to cook but she isn't good cooker. She likes go to parties. In summer she go to Colera at the weekend wiyh her boyfriend Quim. Quim's parents also lives in Figueres.

Carnival

 

Carnival is a big festival. Everybody enjoys with that. It is very funny and you must wear costusmes and different dresses. A lot of countries celebrate that party. The main carnival is in Brasil. It is the most famous carnival  in the world and  the most beautiful because the costumes and the dresses are prepared very early and they  have a lot of work. Only few persons wear disguisses, others watch them. Here in Castelló d'Empúries there are a lot of groups. There is a walk arround the city and  finally a party. I have celebrated that festival since I was five. First I went with my parents but now I go with my friends. My last dress was of a sexy nurse. In our region the most famous carnival is in Roses. For that reason we also went there.

A letter explaining London

London

Hi Randy,

I and my parents have been in London. It's a beautiful city and the weather was fantastic. We visited a lot of monuments and we took some photos but I can't show them you because I don't have your e-mail. We also visited the Golden Bridge, the Big Bang and the British Museum. We met a Spanish family and they were very polite with us. I enjoyed it very much and I want repeat the experience. It was funny and you can enjoy of a beautiful city and of their excellent food. Tonight we want go to a traditional pub and after that we want visit the city at night.

We did very well our vidio with "Animoto". But our presentation was too short and our pronuntation wasn't very well. We need improve a lot of things, we need do an effort extra next presentation.

Romeo and Juliet

It's a love story very famous. It's about a couple who loves each other but their love is impossible.  The writer is Shekaspeare and there is a recently film inspirated in the story. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet a Capulet. Their families are enemies. There are a lot of problems and Romeo has to leave to an other city.

New year's resolutions

• This 2012 I'll be more organizated because in 2011 I had a lot of problems doing homerwork. I'll keep my bedroom clear and without papers and notebooks. I also must play tennis and do more exercice physical, because I don't have resistence. The main resolution is be stronger that 2011 because I'm weak and thin. I'll spend more time with my friends and enjoy more the life.

Experiences.

I've been in the Golden Bridge (London) last summer. I went with my parents, they have never gone with me out of Spain.
I have been in Paris and I have visited the Arch of Triomf. It was amazing! I bought some presents to my family.
I have eaten Thai food in Empuribrava but I didn't liked it.
I never have seen the Pacific Ocean but i'm so afraid because I heart some accidents in there.
I never have been out of Europe. And I would like it.

When Mary was young she was very beautiful. She went to the final party with a ugly boy. But when they become adults they met other time and he fell in love. But now, there are a lot of men who love Mary. He has a lot of problems but finally he become Mary's boyfriend.
